Skogens sang. The song of the forest. Imagine a carnivorous old forest that lours you in by playing a hypnotic melody only to lead you to your doom in order to feed on your rotting carcass.
lyrics
Opp igjennom åsen, dypt inn i skogkratt. Opp igjennom åsen, dypt inn i skogkratt.

PSA: if there was an album you heard a couple years ago and thought it was ok, listen to it again and you might love it.
That's what happened to me with this album. I cannot fathom why it didn't stick with me back then. Same thing happened with Decoherence's Unitarity for that matter. Matten
Outstanding! This is the word to describe not only "Strävan", but Murg, as a proficient, unique swedish duo. Their ability to craft ferocious hymns, unsophisticated but with plenty of variety and melodic settings is truly impressive. This is an album that stayed with me over the years and I am sure I will keep it close for many years to come. And after hearing it hundreds of times, it still gives me the chills. Timeless, greatly atmospheric and catchy, this is, beyond doubt, a masterpiece! Umbra Cornuta
